Los Conductos

Director Camilo Restrepo takes us on a  journey to the treacherous heart of a neighborhood in Medellín, Colombia – once known as the most dangerous city in the world. A world of fear. A man (Luis Felipe Lozano) is on the run – escaped from a religious cult he must now face the ghosts of his past. Barely holding the pieces together, he takes an odd job at a t-shirt factory. As he tries to reconcile with the past,  the violent memories that haunt him turn his mind to revenge , which leads to a mesmerizing trip into a nihilistic urban nightmare.  The first feature from award-winning short filmmaker Restrepo draws the audience into new avenues of narrative cinema. A challenging yet poetic meditation on how the past shackles the future, and the possibilities of escape.
