“The Key” is the newest virtual reality experience from acclaimed storyteller and directorCeline Tricart. It brings together her distinctive aesthetics, documentary edge, and eye for humanism.    Viewers must help to solve challenges to unlock the mystery of “The Key.” Through dreamscapes and interactive tasks, the narrative prompts difficult reflections and decisions around loss. Animated sequences explore the refugee experience with a metaphorical journey from danger to safety.a hidden truth uncovered, and a new beauty revealed by the end.   The project won the top juried award for immersive storytelling after its debut at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival and received the Grand Jury Prize for Best Immersive VR Experience at the 76th Venice International Film Festival. It was created through a collaboration between Oculus VR For Good and nonprofit group Friends of Refugees.
